The idea for SISF was born out of the success of the Hollywood in Singapore film conducting masterclass held in 2024. That unforgettable evening brought Hollywood conductor Angel Velez to Singapore to mentor a new generation of composers in live conducting for film. The energy, excitement, and inspiration from that night revealed a powerful truth—Singapore was ready for its own international soundtrack festival.
That moment sparked the vision to create a larger, recurring platform where composers, audiences, and global industry voices could come together. SISF is the natural evolution of that vision, now ready to take the spotlight.
