Hollywood In Singapore 2024

STORY

At the heart of every powerful story is music and sound. The Singapore International Soundtrack Festival (SISF), organized by White Noise Music, is a celebration of their emotional depth and narrative power across all forms of visual media from film, TV and animation to games, immersive experiences and AI-driven storytelling.

Co-developed in its early stages with Carina Lim, SISF is now led by composer-producer Alex Oh, who continues its mission to champion the soundtrack’s role in cinematic and cultural storytelling.

Rooted in the craft of cinematic scoring and live to picture performance, SISF honors the timeless traditions pioneered by legends from the sweeping orchestrations of John Williams to the bold sonic landscapes of Hans Zimmer. At the same time, it looks forward to rising talents, evolving technologies and hybrid formats shaping the soundtrack of tomorrow.

By bringing East and West into conversation, SISF aims to be a global platform where creators, fans and industry leaders connect and where the magic of music in storytelling continues to thrive.

MISSION

SISF exists to elevate the craft of music and sound in visual storytelling across Asia and beyond.
Our mission is to:

  • Raise industry standards in scoring, sound design and immersive audio

  • Foster global collaboration between East and West

  • Nurture the next generation of composers and sound designers

  • Celebrate both tradition and innovation, from orchestral scores to AI-driven soundscapes

By uniting iconic voices with emerging talents, SISF strives to become a creative hub for those shaping the future of sound on screen.
